A story of kindness

Updated: Aug 4, 2023

Hello, beautiful souls! Today, we have a heartwarming story to share with you. It's a story about kindness, compassion, and the power of community. It's a story about The Crider Foundation and our latest Grocery Giveaway recipient, Amy Hackler, a hardworking mom from Dublin, Georgia.

At The Crider Foundation, we believe in the power of kindness. We believe that kindness is contagious, and one act of kindness can inspire another, creating a ripple effect that can transform communities. We believe that when we show kindness to one another, we create a world that is a little bit brighter, a little bit warmer, and a lot more loving.

Our story begins with a conversation. Amy reached out to us, sharing her struggles with making ends meet. Despite having a job, she was barely covering rent, and her power bills were sky-high. She was at a point where she had to choose between groceries or electricity. It was a situation no one should ever have to face.

We listened. We empathized. And we acted.

Our founder, Alysha, personally connected with Amy, guiding her through the process of receiving assistance. Alysha reassured Amy that she was not alone and that The Crider Foundation was there to help. We worked together to figure out what Amy and her family needed most - food and assistance with her power bills.

We placed the order through Walmart, and soon, the groceries were on their way to Amy's home.

We watched with bated breath as the little car on the Walmart app made its way to Amy's house. The anticipation was palpable as the car got closer and closer, and finally, it arrived! The groceries were delivered!

Amy sent us photos of her and her son with their groceries. The joy on their faces was priceless.

Her son, holding his favorite Doritos Cool Ranch chips, had a smile that could light up a room. It was a beautiful moment, a testament to the power of kindness.

Amy thanked us for the kindness we had shown her. She told us that everything was perfect and that she was grateful for the help we had provided. We were just as grateful to Amy for allowing us to show her kindness.

Amy's story is a testament to the power of kindness. It shows that kindness can make a difference, that it can change lives. We are proud to have been able to help Amy and her family, and we are committed to continuing our mission of spreading kindness.

Remember, kindness is contagious. Let's spread it far and wide. Let's create a world filled with kindness, one act at a time. Because at The Crider Foundation, we believe that kindness matters. Always.
