What is the meaning of Crider?
Crider is the surname of Alysha Crider, the owner and founder of The Crider Foundation. The Crider Foundation is named in honor of Alysha's late father, Rick Crider.
In Alysha's life, she has experienced hardship and poverty. Despite the significant challenge of constant food insecurity, Alysha was able to overcome the odds and find success in the latest season of her life. She now works as a successful businesswoman and is grateful for all of the opportunities that she has had. However, she has never forgotten the struggles of her past and is determined to help others who face similar challenges. She has started The Crider Foundation, a charity that provides food assistance to families and individuals facing food insecurity and poverty.

Rick Crider
The Crider Foundation was named in memory of Rick Crider (1950-2022). Rick was a valued member of his community who spread kindness through his love of music. He was a father of three daughters and a grandfather to nine grandchildren. Rick owned and operated Criderweb, offering website services and graphic design to schools all across Georgia.
Rick was a talented musician who played trumpet throughout his youth, attracting attention from even the local newspaper. His love for music never stopped, and he continued to create throughout his entire life. Rick played the keyboard for the 2nd Time Around band and always had a joke up his sleeve.
